Agreement on trade in textile products between the European Community and Nepal.

This agreement is designed to apply provisionally, from 1 January 2003, the double checking system on imports of shirts, t-shirts, trousers and other items of clothing, and administrative cooperation and a safeguard mechanism. The proposal also includes a review clause, so that every year the categories which are subject to double checking can be reviewed, and an agreed minute on market access, which encompasses a tariff standstill from Nepal and a non-tariff barriers clause for both parties.
