Passport
The applicant must come in person to the Embassy to apply for a new passport. An applicant living in the Netherlands and Luxembourg may
apply for passport through Nepalese Consulate General/Consulate in the respective countries in the prescribed format.
Passport forms are available in the Embassy or may be downloaded from below:
Passport
Required Documents:
- An application.
- Two duly filled in passport forms (IN BLOCK LETTERS)
- Four copies of passport size photographs
- Old passport and its copy
Loss of Passport
The Embassy will issue a new passport in lieu of the lost one after verifying the copies of passport or citizenship
certificate with the concerned issuing authorities in Nepal.
Required Documents:
- An application
- Two duly filled passport forms (IN BLOCK LETTERS)
- Four copies of passport size photographs
- Original Citizenship Certificate/copy of lost passport/copy of citizenship
- A police report from the relevant police offices in the country of residence
Endorsement of Child in parent’s passport
Required Documents:
- An application
- Name, Sex, Date and Place of Birth of the Child
- Birth Registration certificate from Nepal
- Two photographs
- Father’s passport/citizenship as a proof of Nepalese citizenship
Individual passport for a child
A child, whose father is not a citizen of Nepal, is not eligible to obtain Nepali passport.
Parents may apply for individual passport for their child attaching all the documents mentioned above.
Amendments in the Passport:
Spelling/ Date of Birth
Required Documents: Educational Certificate issued from the relevant educational institutes of Nepal.
Inclusion of husband’s family name
Required Documents: Marriage certificate and its copy.
